How many years of DACA would we have if Obama wins!

this is all supposing if Obama wins and the dream act dosent pass within the next couple of years. I assumed it was 4 years but i saw some threads with people saying its 6. Just a little confused would anyone care to share their answers?

What? If you have been granted deferred action it will only last two years. If Romney wins that is it! He could have a change of hart and have us renew our work permits when the two years expires while he "tries" to overhaul this shit-immigration system. If Obama wins we can have assurances that will will have our permits until the very least 2016. After that it depends who gets elected.

If Obama wins, and you get approved say by November or December this year, you'll get at least 4 years of DACA since you'll be able to re-apply in 2014. Your DACA and EAD will be expiring on their 4th year during November and December so you would have to re-apply, but that would depend on whether the next President would honor the people who would be approved for DACA and EAD or if he would end it.

Thats what I was thinking also. Potential for 6 years of DACA

The president will win tonight and daca will be saved for another 4 years. After that who knows some of us might hav adjusted through marriage, employers, ect....

It's 6 years if you got approved before elections..
Example:
got mine on 9/25/12 (2years)
Ill renew it on 9/25/14 (2 years)
Renew it on 9/25/16 (2years)before Obama leaves
And it will expire on 2018
