Maybe since you already had a license you didn't have to show your ead I am guessing! Will a passport work instead of birth certificate?

I got my permit today.
Worcester office.
Got there at noon.
Left at 1:30pm.

Signature : Social Security card
Date of Birth : EAD
Residence : Check book

A lot of specific questions on the test about blood alcohol level and drunk driving, so bone up on those.

The permit expires in 2 years.
Don't know about the license; gonna have to learn to drive :-\
Anyone know if the number on the learner's permit is the same as the one on the actual license?

I am from New York and I managed to obtain a MA dl last year. All I had was my SS (with INS work authorization lettering), bill to prove address, and my unexpired NY dl. I applied at Chinatown in Boston.

It was the 2nd easiest state to obtain license after Washington.

According to my interpretation of the application you need a separate document for each requirement.

You need a separate document to satisfy each requirement, and a valid i94 or visa with a foreign passport.

If it's a foreign passport, you will also need an I-94 that's valid as well, from what i understand.

Does the birth certificate have to be translated? I didn't need to have it translated for my SS but this could be different.

Thanks

You only need the ead , social security, and a proof of residence.
