All lawyers are not the same, I did my apps with lawyer and it went smooth as it can be. My opanion is if you like to go with lawyer then take some time to read reviews and reputation of that lawyer or find best ratting Aavo laywers in your areas from Aavo.com.

If you're taking the time to vet a lawyer, why not take that time to read a few forms? Again, you would be amazed at how much more we know than the lawyers.

I'm resting my case. No need to have this debate go on. Let's go Vermont!

Hindsight vision is always 20/20.
And how exactly is it easy for me to say? I could understand that your dad did it without your consent, but the blame still falls on him.

Better safe than sorry? You do know that you can't appeal a denied application even if you used a lawyer right? Even if you have a few misdemeanors, a lawyer can't do anything special to get you approved if you don't qualify.

As I keep pushing, and this will be the last time I do so; for the most part, we are much more knowledgeable than lawyers when it comes to DACA.

The proof? Lawyers are messing up applications left and right on this forum.

I've a lawyer handling my case and guess what? I get RFE even though I gave her tons of paperwork that in the end she decided not to include.

I have to admit, Ive seen some lawyers making some silly mistakes and charging some ridiculous prices.

Imagine how its gonna be if CIR or DA passes next year or whenever.
If CIR or DA passes, Im determined to file things on my own. Taking some time to read and with the help of this forum community, I beleive I should be fine.
