I have court coming up next week, for driving without a license ( it was my second time being stopped, first time was too dark of tint by like 2 percent and this time a headlight was like half burnt out) I was wondering if you guys think i should plead not guilty and hopefully then i'll have my license by the time the second hearing is? My bio was 9/20 and i still haven't been approved i was banking on having everything by now and going into court with a license but now i'm not too sure on what to do, any advice?

Yea. Plead not guilty. It will buy you a week or 2. You can also just ask the judge to delay the arraignment. If he asks why, be honest. I have had a judge ask me before if i wanted to delay the case unitl i was eligible for a DL. There should be a public defender present at your 1st.court date, try to talk to him/her about it. They can ask for you.

What state? You should plead not guilty and ask the clear for the latest possible date. In california it's usually 1-2 months or more.

Maybe. It depends on the judge or the courts policy. Find out during your first court date.
