EAD Approval

I checked my case status online yesterday for both the I-821D and the I-765. To my surprise, the status of the I-765 (work permit) changed to "Card/Document Production", while the I-821D is still under "Initial Review".

I thought it was kind of weird that I didn't get a text message or email informing me that my status has changed on the work permit app. I've been trying not to get excited, because I don't know if it is a mix up or glitch. I have checked today to see if the I-821D has changed status, but it is still under "Initial Review".

Have any of you had the same problem? Any personal experiences are appreciated.

where are you from tortoise you still didnt get your EAD? we pretty much have the same timeline

I am trying not to get my hopes up, though. I didn't get an email or text confirming my status change. I just hope that it gets sorted out soon. Thank you!

You dont need to get a text/ email to legitimately prove you got approved! If you read the tiny little letter at the bottom of your portfolio case it will say something like " we can experience delays of text/emails because it is still a system in progress" you got approved now celebrate!!!!

Im from NJ. And I already received my EAD I just dont update my siggy. I forget lol

Did you sign up for case update? And I'm not talking about the G1145 form you filled out along with your appliation!

yeah our EAD took longer cuz of the hurricane we had. I just got my EAD earlier in the mail and the mail was really wet lol. Probably submerged in flood. haha

mine were approved yesterday too and were both approved at the same time
