I basically explained that my case has been pending well over the normal period and I was concerned. The lady I spoke to was kind and took my information down. When she was finished, I was given a referral id number and told that she has sent out a request to have my case expedited.

Service center is Vermont. LUD is 8/24/2012. Walk in bio was done on 9/20/2012. Original scheduled biometric date was 9/25/2012. It has been about 80 days since my application was received and 50 since my walk in biometrics. I am from New Jersey and overstayed a B2 since 1994. Other information could be found in my signature.

For the record, i do hope you get expedited, approved soon and get your job. I was also in an area affected by sandy but i personally wasnt affected as much as neighboring towns (so i didnt feel right taking advantage of that offer). However i will say that you should be ready for disappointment...nothing has been consistent with DACA and its proved to be very random over these past few months. Best of luck!

Perhaps your right about my future disappointment. It was a personal issue with me while I wait and did nothing about my application. Once I was off the phone with them, I felt much better.

I was directly affected by Sandy for about a week and a few days. During that time period, I had no power and no heat. Once I saw the alert on the website, I felt that this could really assist with my case since I've waited so long.
