Next step for me after I receive my ead and letter is go to social security administration, get a social, go take my permit, hopefully pass, I'm confident, take the behind the wheel test and start driving all over! First city I wanna go to is San Diego I never went there cause of the checkpoints but I'm finally going to be able to go!

Check your receipt

Oh my! I just checked my receipts! and There is a birthdate error on the I-765 (work permit). But the other receipt is Correct. I don't know why they sent me two receipts with different birthdates. AND I CAN'T BELEIVE I DIDN'T NOTICE IT. DACA has my correct birthday, but the work permit receipt does not.

I called them after I saw my card today. The guy said I have to wait 15 days?? to get a notice or something and get a new card.

Yeah that's what I was going to tell you. Since the work permit receipt has the wrong birthday it would be the same on the ead card. Since daca receipt was correct then the daca letter will be too? Maybe they're too busy to double check stuff. This is a big loophole! They need to watch their work. Are u sure you put the right birth date on your employment form? That sucks. I double checked my receipts. They're correct. Maybe they're gonna have you send it back to them, in the meantime I would make a copy in color of it and carry it with me until you wait for your new card (correct one)

Some of the shit we have to go thru sometimes to hide the truth about our status. I would always tell girls I lost my wallet thats why I had my passport. Always canceled group parties to Rosarito with friends and they all would brag about how much fun they had. It really sucked. I was blessed when I met my girl of 7 years and now wife of 3 years. She and her white Jewish republican family accepted me. They are so happy that I got approved and now want to buy us a house. They also are doing it for our 2 kids. Thank you god for blessing me. I was dealt a bad hand being the middle child of 5. The bad part is that my brothers and sister are all born American citizens. My grandpa passed away while my mom was pregnant with me and returned to Mexico where she had me 2 weeks later and the rest is history.
