Ooops my apologies for that misinformation.

I thought my old one had it (~20 years ago)

Here's the official list: http://www.dmv.ny.gov/forms/id44.pdf

"It says 4 points along with your SSN". So I'm taking it as 4 points (EAD-3pts & Bank/etc-1pt) + SSN (2pts) = 6 pts. If you're ineligible you need another 2 pts.

Is this correct @chapinzito?

Guys...the DMV line is probably going to be long and youre going to have to spend hours there. Why take a risk? Think of it like we did when we initially wanted to submit for DACA...we wanted to send a little more than generally required to avoid something like an RFE.

Just take a few things with you...HS diploma, transcript, HS ID, bills if you have, credit / debit etc...

The last thing you want is to have wasted hours just to go back home because you need more proof.

and BTW

Someone who already has the ID/Permit....please post a pic already.

Yea I'm definitely bringing extra proof. I was just explaining what it says from their site.

And yes can someone please post a pic?

I requested mine and handed the attendant my EAD and social security card. She then told me I needed one more point, I gave her my Chase debit card. Done! Took the picture and gave my signature. Got a number, waited to be called, gave the other attendant the application and same documents from earlier, paid $14 for eight years and received temporary print out.
