ugh yeah i expected the paper one..so embarrassing and esp the "temporary" in big red letters on ur actual DL..oh well better than nothing and better than using a passport! i never had the balls to go out and use my passport, its expired anyway. ive used my expired DL a few times when i was dragged out to bars by friends and had no choice since i didn't want to out myself, but luckily i had no issues.. man its not fair, ppl in CA got 5 year normal looking DL's! oh well... ONE more question. how long did it take to get ur ID in the mail? another dap friend said it took about a week to get their permit but back in the day for me they made sure it didn't take any less than 30 days to arrive in the mail! did it used to be like that for you? |
