I just got my bio letter today for 12/4. It is the Fort Worth, Texas location and I was wondering if a walk in would speed up the process... Also I only have some HS IDs, college ID and birth certificate as proof of identity, would this be enough? If not, how long would the process be for me to obtain my Mexican passport or matricula? I'm still 17, so is there some type of ID I can get for being underage? I know it's a lot of questions and all help will be appreciated, thanks!

If you walk-in it SHOULD speed up the process but that is not guaranteed. Since Obama won I'm presuming A LOT of applications will be submitted which may delay the process. As for the ID question those should be fine but get your mexican passport because when getting a SSN it might be a problem.

Thanks! And the walk in is just that, right? Just walk in tell them my info and I'll be good?

I don't see why it would slow down the process. I assume applications are in a pipeline -- first in, first out. The people who already sent theirs in now would get their stuff processed in the same period of time whether or not there were any applications after them.

Take your most recent school id as of this year, and a Mexican passport is
A must on some cases. Walk ins are not all gaurentee(typo) depending where u
live. If there is a long line outside and office is open,
Ask the workers there if they are accepting walk ins.
cuz if not you are just wasting time

Alright, thanks for the responses. I hope I don't need any more ID than what I have, and potentially slowing down the process... I'll 'walk in' sometime this upcoming week, and hope for the best.

Well, FIFO based on the person processing them. If your application landed on a desk of some slothy person, then that's too bad for you :/
