I did a walk-in and I'm still waiting and the day after I took bios I called FBI and that day they sent the results back to USCIS....so who knows why the long wait.

damn thats crayy. i was scheduled to do bios on 10/01 but i attempted a walk in on 9/17 and it was a fail so 3 days later on 9/20 i drove 3 hrs to ATL and attemped a walk in there and was succesffull! and got approved on 10/23. maybe i got approved faster because i was already in theree system? i had a petition filed for me a couple of years back but got denied but never received deportation or anything! so i think that is why i got approved fast just becasue it was easier for them to verify my app.

Well to be honest with you that point is not valid any more because I was told the same thing a week and two weeks ago so by that logic I should've been approved today. I don't think thats the reason. I think its the individual case officers and their respective work loads.

I have another theory. How long you guys been in the USA? My sisters been here over 10 years and i barely turn 10 yrs last month. Maybe they also are going on how long.you been in the USA.

I think the "theory" that makes more sense is the 'time it takes for biometrics to clear'.

Hi guys I always have to make up excuses to my boss because he's very fuzzy about me taking time off or like a few hours I always have to give him a reason no matter what he always ask! So i will be applying for my SSN tommorrow and I want to kill two bird with one stone lol.. So I wanna stop by the DMV too.. My question is will I get a print out from the SSA that very same day? Really I'm running out of excuses for my boss!
