I have my EAD and SSC. Do I need to wait a few days before going to the DMV

what's this about a 10 day wait period? is that regarding the application for a social?

Yes, the 10 day wait was applying for a social security number. But, mostly everyone has been going the same day they receive the EAD without issue.

just go now, you don't need to wait, just make sure you double check the website to see what documents you need to bring, 100% the EAD and the social ! Enjoy. I'm waiting for mine to come in the mail. It's been a week since I applied, the lady said up to 2 weeks. so hopefully most likely this week =]

also, my permit expires pretty soon though, by the end of the year, I was surprised because it said in the rule book that it lasts 6 months..

-and when we get a license does the number of years for the license duration apply to us? or will it only last 2 years? (was wondering because I can pay either 20 or 32. one for 4 years or for 6 years.)

if you wanna make an appoint at the dmv you can do that too. otherwise, go!

forget the waiting period (if there even is such), just try it out and if it doesn't work, you've got nothing to lose.
