I applied for deferred action, and it was granted. I got my work permit and SSN with dhs authorization. Can I apply for FAFSA? Also, am I considered an International student or a Permanent Resident? I am currently applying for colleges and I don't know what To put myself as. I do not have a student visa or a green card. I live in Pennsylvania. Thank you for your time. I wrote a more detailed post but I don't see it on the forum. So if by amy chance there are two threads by me, then please answer on the more detailed and longer version. Thanks again!

If you live in california you would have to apply as a AB5040 student. you dont qualify for FAFSA but you can apply for the california dream that does grant you some financial aid (it all depends on where you go to school)
