Why did I get a RFE letter when bios was done on sep 17?

It doesn't make sense to me that it took these bastards this long to look at my case and now after doing my bios I receive a RFE? WTF..

When I check my status online it says initial review..

Uhhh they don't start looking at your case until after bios. So no need to be pissed. It's the process.

I understand your frustration but trust me it's better to have RFE than nothing. Atleast they've looked at your application.

agreed, I just got an RFE today and my bio was 9/20 -nebraska but it makes me feel so much better that they finally looked at it. I'm not too worried about the RFE because i know i've been here for 18 years and i'll be able to prove whatever it is they ask but at least i know my application hasn't been overlooked or lost in the thousands

There's a myth that if you will be getting an RFE, you will get it sooner than an approval.

It doesn't work like that. The adjudicators don't begin to look at your case until some time after you do your Bios. Then, they will either approve/deny or RFE you.

exactly, at least you know they are looking into your case. I, in the other hand, am still patiently waiting...

The notification said They need more evidence from 2008 to 2010

I have a few email receipts from Ebay and Amazon that show my name, address and date where I made purchases...those count right?
