No read the previous comment he put. It wasn't clear. You are proving my point. The 75 days is to ask where your case is. It is called a service request. I have been following the tread for a long time. People are really confused between what they are filing.

I think the best thing is to be patient and calm. It will work out. If all your paperwork was filed correctly. You have nothing to hide and you didn't cheat. I have lived in the country for 22 years and was brought here very little. 90 days or 4-6 months is not going to kill you. Go live life. The officer probably already the girls file on his desk. There were many approvals this morning from the Cali Center. Many visa overstays are having to wait longer. I'am sure it has to do with them verifying I-94 records.

I had the same experience I took those steps over the phone as well. Every service center has different time frames I believe as well. I filed a SR because its been more then 75 days since I filed and they told me to allow 14 days for info on my cases if not to call back.

Yeah, I was told 90 days when I called last week, so I couldn't put in a request in then. Called today and they let me. In any case, we did what we could for now... so good luck to us. Maybe that will give the adjudicator a nudge...

I went to apply for ssn today and the guy who works there told me that i had to wait two weeks after my ead was received because most likely, it wouldnt be on their system. I then told him that my sister had apply four days after receiving her card and that they told her that they needed to verify everything and it could take up to two weeks and then two weeks to receive her ssn. He said okay, give me your EAD, then he asked for my passport or any government issued ID, then he asked for my birth certificate, asked me two or three questions, then for my address, he then said, OOOHHHH you're in the system now,, he then gave me a receipt that states i should be getting my ssn card in less than two weeks and to call them if i dont receive it by then. I think my sister wasnt on their system when she applied cause on her receipt it says that they need to verify her status, but on mine it only says to wait two weeks to receive it....

mine went in production on tuesday of last week and received it on saturday, it took 4 days!
