That's awesome, congrats I'm very excited as well. My boyfriend already wanted me to drive to cape cod this weekend to get a feel for the highway but I'm like...nahhhhh hahah I'm scared I need more practice with parallel parking using only 3 movements! I'm okay with the 3 point turns but I guess I could use some more work on it as well. Other than that, I just need to get used to keeping both my hands on the steering wheel at all times cuz I usually don't when I drive. For whatever reason I feel like using both hands is actually less safe for me haha cuz my movements get stiff. Lmao. I'm excited though! Btw, dude33, did you apply for a NY ID as well ?

I live on Cape Cod lol. It's a little scary going on the bridge, so I'd advise you not to drive to Cape Cod.

See I didn't know whether you could have both or not, and I saw a bunch of people here applying for both. So I went ahead and applied for both... And well, the lady at the RMV didn't say anything about it so I figured, hey maybe I can have both. But now I see people say you can't have both, and that once I get my DL they will cancel my ID or something... So I'm like, wtf? What was the point of that? Why are people getting IDs then, to waste money ? Anyway, too late now...we will see how that works!
