I will be doing the same thing I've been doing for the last 7 years but I'm a lil happier because I have a beautiful son only 2 years old... I had already resign and i was going to wait until my son turn 18 or 21 so he could petition me I would have been 45 lol!!

I was thinking of this the other day, but I would have probably bought a one way ticket. I don't think i could take another year of doing absolutely nothing, hoping and praying for the dreamact to pass.

I'd be in Bristol, England studying economics. Sometimes I wish I would have gone instead of torturing myself with this, as it seems like I'll never get approved.

Don't say that. I thought I was for sure for sure not going to get approved because I've done some shady things to make a living, always borderline legal but I got my papers at least for two years I have recovered my sanity.

I think I would have been headed to Canada or somewhere else where I could feel "human."

The hardest thing for me to overcome is the thought of how hard I worked to get admitted to good schools, and then when I was told that I couldn't get any type of loan or financial aid, it felt like my dreams were shattered. I did managed to graduated from college with double majors, and then got a masters degree; in the meantime I have felt like shit as my life seems in a "standby mode" while everyone's lives keep on going. Turning down job offers when I graduated from college was the most difficult thing I have experienced, as I felt truly an "alien" living in this country and all of my degrees seem"meaningless" at that time...

My boyfriend and I were engaged and had plans on getting married, but my feeling of "inferiority" to him stopped me from getting married. I hope that after I get my driver license and a job, God can give us the opportunity to take that step again, where we both be "equal" in the relaitonship.

Right now, I am trying to get everything ready to carry out an idea of starting a business, but since I am still waiting for the approval, I don't want to push anything to far until I have some type of legal status.

Blessings,
Latte11
