so when people get their biometrics it means that their application has been accepted?

nope, they have to conduct a background check first. thats what the biometrics is for.

Ok I should have been more specific... what I meant is... by the time you get your biometrics appt it means that they have looked at your application and eveything looks good? or do they still have to look at all your evidence?

Hey guys! Although I sent my application on Oct 26, I consider myself a Nov applicant b/c they received my application on Nov 2.
I received 2 receipt letters and my biometric letter on Nov 9. And I did a walk in on Nov 13.
Now I'm just patiently waiting... Routed to California center by the way.

How can you tell who signed your application? I see a lot of you posting "signed by ... And signed by ..."

USPS has a delivery notification that you can get via email. They send you a delivery confirmation including a copy of the signature of the person who signed for your package. That's how I knew who signed for mine.

I called uscis last night because I cant check my case online and they told me my case is there but im not schedule for a biometrics yet but will be soon , it sucks they get my app on 10/29 , I guess Vermont is really, really slow ...

Update: I got my biometrics letter in the mail today for a Dec.6 appointment.

I think everyone that sent the applications in the first week should be getting their biometrics letter very soon.
