Don't wait on that new appointment. Just walk-in and explain that you missed your original appointment because of Sandy. I'm sure 99% of people in your position are doing this. No need to lose your spot in line because of Sandy.

Did you decide to walk in after that? If not, have you gotten any notice in the mail?
