Has anyone gotten approved without being able to check status online?

I read on the new members forum that some people have a valid receipt number but they're not able to check their application status online because of various reasons including computer glitches. What I'd recommend is calling USCIS to check the status of your case, make sure you're on the right track.

If they can find it when you call, you should be okay, you're not the only one with this problem.
