This is Dead on Arrival in the Senate, Democrats have political capital right now, the American people spoke and they want passage of the real Dream Act, not the watered-down handouts.

The only way this bill will pass if they attach this to the CIR. It does not stand a chance of passing as stand alone in my opinion.

They did not even add the Retroactive Provisions. What about the 33+ who have a Bachelor's degree?
Oh I know how it feels to get left out.

I was 21 years & 9 months old when my mom got her citizenship. If I'd been born a year later I'd have status today!

Isn't there a bill where they would eliminate the long wait for over 21?

So why didn't she file a petition for your when she was a GC holder?

This bill is ridiculous. Did Rubio make this or is that just speculations?

What pisses me off is the fact that after years of military service, we will not be able to become citizens for another decade after that. We would be doing more than most of those damn lazy rednecks who hate us so much, we'd actually be sacrificing sweat and blood fighting the wars they support while they sit back like the ignorant cowards they are and have always been. We would actually EARN our citizenship instead of taking it for granted like those morons have. This is what has always pissed me off about every version of the DREAM Act!

You know people have been talking about reintroducing dream with another name. Because they feel it would change perception. I think there was already an EARN Act though.

Immigration Truth was right. Cheers buddy.
Hey my bro!

I seriously thought the Republican Party was going to put forward a serious attempt, this on the other hand is just a joke that needs to be strangulated and killed before it becomes a serious bill. The political plate tectonics have shifted and I truly do think we're going to find a DA style bill, not the "achieve act". This country is forever changed, the guild of old angry white men can't deliver elections anymore. And if the republicans want to reject a true and fair DA and further kill their party, then well be my guest, I'll bring snacks and a DJ to their funeral. The overall arc is towards legalization. We've got this!

Let,s wait for Graham-Schumer bill, we my not even need Marco's Rubio bill (AGAIN) if they include the previous version of the Dream Act
