DACA Just turning us against each other. But to be fair, this hostile environment comes from the kids who visit anime forums and 4chan and whatnot who are use to this hostile internet environment that is all about being defensive about every point you make.

The affidavit was used if the applicant couldn't get a SSN and the was no real ID laws. This is how i got my initial DL in 2003, however, things changed in 2008 to require proof of legal status so i don't think this affidavit route is valid anymore. I tried to renew my DL in 2009 and was turned away. I had no problem reapplying for it with DACA. Good luck!

Ummm...last time I checked, you just joined this website barely a month ago (2 months AFTER DACA) so I guess the ''toxicity'' that you are seconding applies to you. Weren't you the same individual that was asking about an Oklahoma driver's license too? I'm not from Texas but I'm from a state with strict license requirements and after reading what you wrote, common sense led me to the conclusion that legal status is required to go through the affidavit route, it's not rocket science.

Going back to your first post, maybe if you knew the difference between ''applying for DACA'' (continuous tense) and ''will be applying for DACA'' (future tense), then we'd have avoided this whole misunderstanding.

I mean wow! Stay in school kids, education is key!
