I fasted once for 2 weeks and I am going to fast this whole week in observance of thanksgiving day. Anyone been through the fasting experience before?

Yes I do it for body building though. I fast for 16 hours and one 24 hour fast during the week. I don't know if this is the kind of fasting you're referring to.

Well that's intermittent fasting but that is still something. I fasted for 13 straight days, and then I went 2 months doing what you just described.

I wouldn't fast anymore than 48 hours to be honest a lot of health risk beyond that point. Are you liking intermittent?

I heard drinking lemon water helps. But then it wouldn't be fasting would it?

I think you meant from sunrise to sunset and yes am muslim too and we do this for a whole month. It's dry fasting so no food nor drink the whole time nothing goes in your mouth. It always makes me feel grateful for the things I have and humble by the end of the whole month.

Damn.

So what do you guys do during fasting? Don't drink or eat specific foods? Or just from certain times.
