my pastor has always told me "no comparing no complaining" and this week it has been sticking all over my mine.I was stressing out about not being accepeted and getting mad that other people are getting approved and i realize its all in Gods hands. We shouldnt be worrying and stressing about it. We all have waited 20 something years, we can wait couple of weeks and months.

I just got approved, sent package aug 23. Bio sept 21. rfe nov.8 approved nov 20, good luck to everybody. God bless you.

Congrats!!!!!

I said that I would not post again til I was approved or RFE'd. I haven't recieved a word from USCIS so I decided to call them since I reached the 90 day mark. I knew they'd give me the answers they read on the website which I have also read but it's always good to act dumb and find out as much info as you can. What I heard today from an agent, shocked me.


I asked her about the processing time for everything and she began to tell me that the ANTICIPATED processing time for DACA is 4-6 months (as we all know). I was a bit confused because she said anticipated because so far I was believing that it would take them exactly 4-6 months to process your case and it would not take longer than that. So I asked the agent, "You mean if I have not heard from USCIS about my case after 6 months, there is still nothing that I can do because you're saying that the processing time could be longer than 6 months as well? Maybe even a year or two?" To that question she responded "Yes sir that is correct" and I said "Oh, wow, did not know that. Guess I'll just wait then. Thank you for your help you are very kind Donna " then she laughed and we said goodbye to each other <3 and the call was then disconnected.


I am not sure if I am shocked but it just makes me think like, wow, so If I was one of the first few to send an app in, and I am not yet approved after people who have gotten approved that have applied after me, will my application take months and months? Just worries me. Maybe I could have done something else with that $465 and waited to apply later and I would have gotten approve faster from a different service center.

^^Welcome back Moiz, Hate to break it to you. Almost everyone active currently knows about the 4-6 month wait. It is what it is. We pay the price for a possible slow case officer.
