Just got a 2nd Biometrics Letter?

SO my biometrics was originally scheduled 10/29/10 and it did a walk in on 10/24/12 and i just got a letter to do it on 11/29/12 I think I kno why I got a 2nd letter though is because im in NYC and my center was closed due to Sandy on my scheduled date so I guess thats why im gettin a second one. My brother who waited for his appointment date which was the same as mine couldnt go cause it was closed and he did it 2 days after his date and he also got a second biometrics letter today...Has this happend to anyone else??? Should I do anything or just disregard them?

I would give them a call because there is also possibility that FBI rejected your fingerprints and you need to go in again to have them redone.

I dont think thats the case because I called a few days ago and they told me that had recieved my fingerprints like 5 days after I did my biometrics and were only waiting for the background check. I think is mostly due to Sandy but Ill give them a call on monday..

You got your second notice already? My original date was on the 30th, but due to hurricane Sandy, my center was also closed. The problem is, I haven't received anything in the mail about a second appointment date. I find it weird because they usually sent the receipt and everything pretty quickly, but I haven't gotten the rescheduled date. Should I worry or wait more?

Doesn't sound like that is the case then if they told you that they received your fingerprints. It does sound like it is due to Sandy, but I would still call as you stated you would.

Did you call back? I have the same problem. I got a second letter for bimetrics after doing the first one on Oct 30. I called the office but I was not given any good info. They said to make the second appointment. How were able to confirm your first set of finger prints were good

I'm pretty sure the website says if you already got your bio done then don't worry about it. That was for people scheduled for the app when the center was closed.

I was told to disregard it as they already had my print in the system as they saw it on their computer when I called..in my case it was because my appointment was on a day the offices were canceled to due sandy so im guessing is all computerized where they just send second letters to anyone who had appointments on the days they were closed due to sandy..
