Let's take a minute to thank for what we are, what we have, and what might we have, no matter the outcome might be.

I'm thankful for my family, we are together and apparently healthy. Everything else is icing on the cake.

I'm thankful for this country and the opportunities so many people would kill for. I'm thankful that I get this opportunity at 17 years of age. I'm so thankful to be able to start my life normally at this early age. I couldn't imagine living life after college still out of status. I will never take that for granted. But most obviously my family.

I'm thankful to God for everything and everyone in my life. I'm so grateful for how this year has turned out (I didn't know that I'd have an EAD by November this year when the year began, wow!). I'm thankful for this forum because before joining it, I always thought that I was alone as an Undocumented person since I didn't personally know any Undocumented people besides me. I'm also very grateful that we have a compassionate and good president in Obama.

I'm thankful to the hundreds and thousands of young adults who risked everything and protested to get us to this point. Some were deported, some are still in jail but if it wasn't for their constant pressure maybe Obama wouldn't have given in. We owe these people a lot and we cannot stop the fight for our brothers and sisters who didn't get a chance this time around.
