I've flown to Hawaii using my valid passport with no visa as identification several times before.

What If you can't get a state ID (AZ). Some are saying don't show EAD. I don't see the problem.

Yes! You can go to Hawaii! I went last year in November with just my Mexican passport, It was from San Jose to Honolulu than Maui. Than this year I went in July straight to Maui with no problem. So your fine with just traveling with your state id that's how everyone goes, as long as you don't travel outside the US.

It was 426 round trip on United. Stayed 6 days, was a blast especially right after the elections =) Although check diff sites I got it from travelocity other sites had same trip at over 700 and I got it a week before I left, overall extremely happy. Plus a lot of free admission museums.

I traveled from NYC to LA 2 weeks ago. Had no problems at all. I showed my passport since I did not want to show my EAD, but i had it with me just in case. I also traveled to Miami twice before having any documents and all I used was my passport. Enjoy your trip! I really want to go to Hawaii and Puerto Rico!

It's always been relatively safe for us to travel in my opinion. I've been to San Francisco, Houston, New York, D.C., and Chicago with stopovers in Denver, Minneapolis, Charlotte, and Memphis in the last 5 years. All you need is the front (ID) page of your passport to show TSA that it matches your boarding pass, before they give you a full sexy rubdown at the security checkpoint.

One thing I've always avoided though is US Airways, since I live in LA/OC, most US Airways flights eastbound pass through Phoenix, AZ, since it's their headquarters and main hub. No we all know what goes down in that state... Although it wouldn't really matter because a stopover would keep you in the sterile (meaning past security or "airside) area of the airport.

It's even "safer" now with our state IDs... and our guaranteed two-year reprieve.

Bon voyage~

Yes. As long as it's a valid passport.
