thank you everyone for the input, my application was routed to Vermont, so the receipts started with EAC. I will call uscis today and ask them about the second letter, will keep everyone updated. thanks

thanks. the representative wasn't able to give me any useful information on the second letter, she suggested that I should go into the office again and ask them about it. I'll try to go there tomorrow and update with u guys then.

I have the same biometrics as you..and I'm still waiting.

My sister has the same time line. Application received on august 31st biometric on 10-2 and her status shows as initial review. California center.
