10 day wait after DACA before SSN - Page 105

I have not been verified yet on its been 14 days since I got approved. Is there anything I can do or do I just have to wait.

what do you mean not verified? you haven't gotten your SSN in the mail u mean?

No they told me I was not in the system and that it takes ten days to be in the system and it's been 14 in I'm still not in the system.

I think you should be fine. When they check your SSN at the DMV, I assume they check to see if it's real and matches your info, which it is and it will. They will then need to verify your legal presence, which they do so by checking your EAD, which you already have.

Go and try it. What's the worst that could happen? They'll say "come back in a couple of weeks," that's all.

ah dang. Ic , has it been 14 business days? Saturdays don't count and thanksgiving of course doesn't either

I just received my EAD this past Saturday and was thinking about going to apply for a SS card tomorrow. Should I even go or not?

There's nothing you can do but wait. It took me 22 days from approval to be verified.

Their manual states that the wait time is 7-10 days from approval. So, you can wait 7 days from te approval of your ead to go.
