so im wondering do we qualify for the in-state tuition (those states that has not yet give undocumented students in state tuition) and scholarships from like FAFSA (http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/deadlines.htm) after we get approve for our I821 and get our employment card?

please let me know because i currently have 3.75 overall GPA, junior biochemical science major. my academic achievement is good enough for some scholarship.... i cant really afford to pay out of state (6000 dollars.)

thanks

(other info. i am in louisiana )

And no federal aid for any DACA beneficiary.

We are not permanent residents so I don't see how this is relevant.
No we are not eligible for "free" money aka federal. Find out private scholarships but IG you are in biochem there should be some private ones offer by your school

No you do not qualify for FAFSA, which is only for Citizens, Permanent Residents, Asylees, Refugees, and I think also those with applications pending via NACARA.

I looked through Louisiana instate regulations, doesn't look like you qualify for instate, you must be a citizen, or permanent resident, or in status leading to permanent residency (refugee, etc), or hold A, E, G, H-1B, I, K, or L visa. You could probably file for a special consideration, however you likely won't be approved for instate.

Just clarifying that FAFSA is not only for US citizens, others too, but of course not DACA beneficiaries.
