So I got DACA and I got my SSN already, all I need is my license. I was wondering if we still qualify for AB540 now that we have a SSN. I want to attend community college, should I sign up online or in person to be able to fill out the AB540 form(if we still qualify).

Bottom line, Do i qualify for AB540 even though I got DACA and a Social Security Number?
-----I live in California

Yes you still qualify because even though we have temporary protected status, we are still without lawful immigration status.

I applied and qualified at my community college. Just check the second box on the form like you would have in the past.

You can qualify for AB540 even if you don't have a SSN. I live in California and I qualified for AB540.

There is no need to confirm. It is how the law is written. It is not based on lawful status or residency it is based solely on high school attendance. As long as you have 3 years of high school attendance in a CA high school you qualify. Most of the people that take advantage of AB540 are actually US citizens.

You have to had completed 3 years of high school in California and had graduated or received a GED, most people do not qualify due to the 3 year of high school not done in califonia
