how long does it take to get ssn for texas when you apply for it?

Hi i just got approve and waiting for my ead card so i can apply for the ssn... just wondering people that got there ssn how long does it take for you to get it??? i live in texas btw if people got there stuff done already please lmk how long does it take to get the ssn when you apply time frame for ssn. IM SUPER EXCITED RIGHT NOW!

I applied on 11-5 and got it in the mail on 11-10 so its pretty quick

By the way nyou can get a printout of your SSN within 24 hours and go get your DL but make sure you have proof of address and your birth cert congrats by the way!

how do you do a print out?

You wait 24-48 hrs for a number to be generated, then come back to the SSA office and ask for a printout, idk about Texas but I know Missouri accepts these to expedite DLs

I went on the 21 st, its been a week and still nothing, maybe because they were closed for the rest of the week because of Thanksgiving. They told me that i needed to take drivers ed. because im 22 in order to get my DL.

i applied for my ss on 11/27. They couldnt verify me in the system and they made copies of my paperwork and they said they were going to mail it to california and it was going to take up to 4weeks
