I think we need to publicize your situation more, because there are people that have received their ead and are waiting on daca approval. I think that is human error. They are provably approved for both but the last idiot in line forgot to press both buttons.

The key to be able to make one is if your DACA has been granted and you are inquiring about EAD. The lady seemed bitchy on an early monday morning. I smiled and was very nice to her, it seemed to work, I got her to help me. I gave her a good speech about my situation and how hard I've worked. My story didn't seem to work with her, but it sure did with the teller at the next window. She overheard what I have been doing to get my EAD. She offered to call the supervisor at Laguna Niguel. She told me consider your case taken care of today. I smiled and thanked both of them from the bottom of my heart.
I came into work, sure enough 2 hours later I received and email:
Your card has been sent into production.
Message is "STAY ON TOP OF YOUR GAME, GO OUT AND GET WHAT YOU WANT" Do not let people fool you telling you that you can't do certain things. Go and schedule one if you need.

UPDATE!!! MY CARD HAS BEEN SENT TO PRODUCTION - Received email to confirm.
I urge everyone to find alternatives. Fight for what you deserve!!

YOU GUYSSSS!! I was pumping iron and sweating my ass off just now when my phone went off. Text from USCIS, my status changed and I am approved! Says they ordered production of my new card! I821D still says initial review but that's alright! 
This is amazing I am so happy! And those of you who haven't been approved (especially August/September applicants) hang in there! It's coming and when it does, you will never forget this feeling!!

Notification received: 8-7-2014. Routed to Nebraska.
Biometrics letter received: 8-22-2014 for 9-5-2014.
New approval: 10-31-2014.
