PA DACA approvals..Trouble with DL or state ID

Hello fellow Dreamers...anyone approved having trouble getting Learners permits,Drivers License,or state issued ID's ?....any info would be of help to others.Please could you list your state of residence.

I didn't have any trouble when applying for my state I'd. It was peace of cake. I just showed two forms of mail in my name. My EAD card & social. & also my passport. That was about it. I'm from Maryland.

Nope no problem here. All I showed was me EAD, passport, two proofs of residence, and the SSA letter with my SSN. Took like 5 minutes and I have my driving test next Friday! Best of luck!

Good luck on the driving test KG. I was able to book mine a day after I got my permit and passed (this was couple of weeks ago), but I had to drive about 40 miles though, which was still worth it.

Congrats on approval...are u from Pennsylvania ?..I was reading another thread that said they had to wait for a letter in the mail from the state for approval .

KG is from PA. I believe he told me once he lives about an hour from Philadelphia, (btw I live in NE Philadelphia). When you go to the DMV bring your EAD, Passport, SSN card (SS printout may be acceptable), your DACA approval notice letter, 2 proofs of residence, money order or check. For ID, (it is $13.50) and DL ( it is $24.00 since you're only eligible for a 2 year photo), the completed DL 180 form ( http://www.dmv.state.pa.us/pdotforms...rms/dl-180.pdf ) and for State ID complete form dl-54a ( http://www.dmv.state.pa.us/pdotforms...rms/dl-54a.pdf ).

Oh and one more thing, don't forget to have the second page of the DL 180 form be completed by a licensed doctor or physician.

You're lucky! I had to wait 6 weeks cuz there's only 2 DMVs in my area of two decent sized cities. Congrats though!

I WAS APPROVED YESTERDAY!!!!!!! I'M so excited to finally be able to learn how to drive..SEPTA will soon be a thing of the past...
