Arizona dreamers on drivers license

Have any of the ones that said they were getting a dl in calli actually go thru with or Will any of you be playing the waiting game to see what happens after the jan brewer lawsuit ends??

You might actually get in trouble if you try to do this so be careful. Also, Texas has a law that even if you have a DL from another state, it's only valid for 90 days. So you would have to make sure that AZ doesn't have a similar law or else it might not be worth trying to get a license somewhere else.

Texas
Sec. 521.029. OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE BY NEW STATE RESIDENTS. (a) A person who enters this state as a new resident may operate a motor vehicle in this state for no more than 90 days after the date on which the person enters this state if the person:

(1) is 16 years of age or older; and

(2) has in the person's possession a driver's license issued to the person by the person's state or country of previous residence.

It's up to you to try, but someone here posted that it was adviced by his/her lawyer not to because it's considered fraud, unless you will really commit to CA residency full on. The problem maybe once you come back and get arrested carrying a CA dl...they might get suspicious, and if they find out how you got it, it can get you in trouble.
