From what ppl there said, the Ombudsman's office will call USCIS and ask for the status of the case and the reason why it is taking longer to process. They wont try to bullshit the Ombudsman's office since they are dealing with another federal agency. Hopefully that will be enough to make USCIS pull up the case and deal with it.

If it doesn't work we have to wait for the 6 months to pass... (2 more months). Then we can file a writ of mandamus, which will force USCIS to reach a decision within 30 days by law.
I appreciate all the help. Do you happen to have skype? We August Apples need to have some type of communication.

time to forget DACA once again and deal with life's misery (these HS graduate illegals will never understand)

I've been following your responses AJ... After reading up on the other threads I recommend staying off the forum entirely or focus on one or two threads. This one although not perfect seems much more relaxed.

It sucks that we've been waiting so long but in the end it is what it is.. All we can do is keep bugging them with the *false* hope that they will actually look at it.

I too finally got a response to my Service Request and although it sounds more positive than others I've read I'm still not setting my hopes too high. From what I've read the adjudicators have a list of generic replies they can choose from. That's why they are all similar but different.

The time frames given are simply an outcome of those generic messages and I doubt there is any real meaning behind them...

With that said... another day another dollar...... lost that is.........

Peace...

Hello- My husband and I both sent our applications in August and it was delivered
Aug. 31. We both did our biometrics Oct. 5. I received card Nov. 3 and was so worried about my husband. BUT today I see that he was approved and that his card has been sent to production!!! super excited and wish luck to the rest and lots of patience although I didn't have much either.

Hi everyone. I was reading about infopass, anyone has taken a stab at using infopass?

AJ bro we have to be this month. 4-6 months soo basically you should have a response this month. I have emailed some ppl as well. They are familiar with the texas service center, but maybe they have an idea whats going on with ours in Nebraska. at least worth a shot.

Stay strong guys. We are sooo close to it.

Sup dani! Thought about going for an infopass.. but the closest USCIS office is 2 hours away from where I live. They prob won't be able to tell me much more then the stupid phone ppl anyways. So I betting my chips on the request I put in yesterday.

But we're getting close...

Not being negative or anything but do you guys think that there is a chance that they might've forgotten about us? I mean I know we're not the only ones but whenever I see a November bio get approved I can't help but get a little mad.

Being routed to CA doesn't help either.

It doesn't happen often, but it happens. If you google it, you'll see people who waited months and years for I-765's, I-485's, and then find out that their cases were set aside and never looked into again. Or the biometrics didn't go thru and USCIS never bothered to send out another bio notice. That's why you have to put some pressure on them.

But some people here think the USCIS is incapable of making mistakes.
