I am posting this thread to see what you all might think. We all want the Dream act obviously to happen, but I had an ephony. The government would gain more from us if they kept us in deferred action. Here's my theory.

$465 (with biometrics) x number of daca approvals. Extendable every 2 years= a lot. Of $$$$$

$1070 (with biometrics) x number of dream act approvals. = also a lot of $$$$

In the long run keeping deferred action would increase more revenue oppose to dream act which we all know grants us permanent residence. I hate to say it but if we were lawmakers it's pretty obvious which helps the country more, but not necessarily us. I'm curious to what you all think. Please reply. Thanks.

DREAM act is dead. DEFERED action will live forever.

I hate to crush your "ephony" (I think you meant epiphany) but in a 15.5 trillion dollar economy 500 million to 1 billion dollars every two years is a drop in a lake.

In other words, it is so laughably insignificant as to be no factor at all.
