What are you guys going to do about driver license? Do you guys know that MI doesn't give license to DACA applicants?

Yeah I'm aware of it pretty bummed out about it. I don't know what to do maybe go to another state but then there's an issue of proof of residency. Hopefully something will be worked out. I'm thinking about just moving out of the state a fresh start

Do you have an expired DL? If you do, you can still renew with just a SSN.

Yeah I'm gonna have to try that. I would hate to move away I love this state. Love going to the tigers games and going upnorth to camp. Ive been here since 1994 thanks for the info

Im hoping thats the case though for us if we have expired.. I still have mine but its been expired for a while now almost 4 yrs. my friend renewed his no problem with just his ss# and his was expired just as long as mine. I think they will change their minds eventually about the no DL atleast i hope

Hopefully they do change their minds but for now I'm kinda interested in what is going on on Arizona. Maybe we are gonna have to do what they are doing, all we want is to drive and work

Just heard today there is a Secretary of state that gives them out in the city of Dearborn

Did your friend renew his expired license in Michigan with DACA ? And did he successfully renew his license. I have an expired state ID from Michigan, is possible to renew it with the work permit and social?

What are the requirements to get one?

Ah man sucks to be from Michigan, it's a shame they're not letting their Dreamers obtain a DL
