My sister had an issue at the SSA. They told her that USCIS had not updated her name on their system and was still showing her unmarried name. They told her to get it corrected with USCIS. She came back home and I told her it was bullshit and to try another SSA office.

She went to a different one the next day and the lady was super nice. She changed her name on the system to reflect her documents and told her to expect her social in two weeks. No hassle, Id say try a different SSA office and just go in as if you're applying for a new social, don't even mention what happened at the other SSA office or the mistake USCIS did.

They did with my sister.

I applied for DL with the EAD with typo at least i can drive with it they haven't replied me yet and it have passed the 15 days

Tell me about it -_-. After 20 days they finally sent me my new Receipt number.

So what now? How are you gonna get a new card? Did you have to pay the $360 again?

My EAD already have my pic that's proof enough and i explained the situation to them.
