Hi, I got approved for DACA.
I have my work permit now and BA degree.

I don't know if I want to go for full time job or get part time job with continuing ed.
I'm kind of interest in getting healthcare job - radiation therapist to be more specific.
I understand most healthcare job require criminal background clearance check.

I read from thread that DACA can't get the job that require clearance.
Does that apply as clearance check?

Also...can we apply for state college/university?

Clearance usually means a government clearance to access & work with sensitive materials (ie: any intel or say weapons development). You need to be a USC to even apply for clearance in the first place.

A background check is something different. It's just a general check that shows that you're not a felon or a wanted criminal. I don't see why a DACA applicant won't be able to pass a background check (heck, part of the DACA application process is passing that check).

You can apply for state college/university all you want. I think only georgia bans illegals from attending. You may, however, have to pay international level tuition. It really really depends on the state you're in.
