If you want to be notified when there is an update to your case, you have to create an account on the USCIS website, then add your receipt numbers to your portfolio and turn on the e-mail and mobile alerts.

some people have been getting text messages, and some not. LOL. I've been reading that people that got accepted on a weekend day did not get a text. Are you waiting from vermont?

My EAD card finally got produced/mailed out today(received no text update), I was approved on Thursday!
