so i got approved for the DACA, what do i fill in when they ask me for what type of legal stats i have?

I believe the exact term is resident alien. I've heard various ways people refer to it around here though. Might just be able to put legal alien on there. Never claim citizen though.

Residents are green card holders.

We have temporary legal presence, we aren't resident aliens.

I-9 only cares for work authorization. Check box for "An alien authorized to work", put in your A number and when your work permit expires.

If they keep drilling then just tell them you were granted deferred action and unrestricted work authorization.
