I believe U visa and T visa are not eligible for Federal aid not entirely sure because its kind of complicated, here in CA they passed a bill AB 1899 if I got the numbers correct, basically the bill lets people with those type of visa to apply for CA dream act. Since before CA dream act only handles AB 540 students.

I would suggest contacting the financial aid office of the school you go to.

It sounds like there is a procedure in place depending on the type of U-Visa you hold. If your UVisa is designated as "victim of human trafficking" then you are eligible.
Ok, this is completely off-topic and it might be my brain over analyzing things but...

In that link, under Eligible noncitizen it says:

And in the USCIS wesbite, Advanced Parole is defined as a Parolee:

Again it might be my brain over analyzing things but.. I think we might qualify for FAFSA!

Just apply for the FAFSA, if it asks you for immigration Questions, just say you are legally in the United States. That should work out for you! Because with a U-Visa, you have the Potential to Apply for a Green Card after a few years and 5 years after that, become a Citizen! Good Luck!

What do you advise me to do next?
I am applying to grad school and I am in the same situation as you. The admissions counselor said I do qualify for FAFSA but others have said I do not. Please let me know if you find something new relevant to this topic. What schools are you applying ?
