Really? theres just so much hype around Bryant.. all of my business professors seem to think its amazing and are so excited for my acceptance and scholarship. I have to put down a deposit in a few days and still havent made up my mind!

Wow I'm sorry. I just kept talking without fully reading your post. I just noticed your scholarship amount and saw how much it would cost you annually after that. Bryant seems like a good choice for Business and it definitely is well reputed. Just to let you know a lot of college students do change their minds within the two years about what to major in. In a case like this, UMass would be ideal since I'm assuming they have almost every program available there. But if you are fully into Accounting, Bryant is definitely a good choice and you also have a great scholarship prize there. You can keep things further affordable by staying at an off campus location.

Oops forgot again. You said you're transferring so changing minds is not an option. So yes, go with Bryant. But again...be aware BOTH Dartmouth and Amherst are accredited in Accounting and this is Massachusetts flagship University. So I think you'd do well at both Universities.

I would definitely pick UMass just for the fact that you can find internships with reputable firms so easily. That is the reason we all go to school in first place, isn't it?

Yes, I agree with Pootie. I just realized Umass Dartmouth and Amherst are both accredited by AACSB. Can't mess with a state's main University system. You have a choice to make. You need to come up with a Cost Benefit analysis and decide what you are looking for during your last two years at school and go accordingly.

Its a really hard decision guys, thanks for all your input!
Things would be so much easier if I could have just a little bit more help to pay for this! Bryant is my top choice, I've visited the campus and I fell in love with everything there. Plus, I have been very influenced by my professors who idolize Bryant lol. Although they'd probably be just as happy if I went to Umass Amherst, Umass Dartmouth is is looked down by just about all of them. They definitely are two very different schools, although both are part of the Umass system. However, after I looked up the shools on AACSB and found out UMass Dartmouth is accredited as well, I will feel better if I end up having no choice but to go there.

Has anyone had any luck getting into a Big 4 or a large national/regional firm? I graduated with honors in 2010 and haven't worked in the accounting field. I'm kind of lost and don't know how to get back into the field. Lol.
