Florida License - Page 2

How long did it take you guys to get the license on the mail (if you applied for the first time?) I took the written test yesterday and was given a temporary paper that serves as a permit and was told that it should be mailed from 7-30 days, would like to know if it's less than 30, thanks!

It took about 2 weeks

I already have my ID that I paid for can they take my ID away ? If I go in there to get my Driver License ?

how did you get an ID?
and yeah they will take it because you are only allowed to have one or the other

IDK if they have gotten faster or what, most people on here I heard say it took 2 weeks or less.
for me like 5 yrs ago when I had a DL, they never took any less than 30 days..maybe 29 if I was lucky...a family member said the same thing.
I sure hope they have gotten faster or its because of DACA.

What are you allowed to show as residence proof? Is any type of mail in your name acceptable or is it only bills?

shit IDK its been a while since I've been to the DMV.
i think anything that has a date, your name, and address on it would work. if you got nothing, i think your parents bills would work. i think thats what i did back in the day bcuz i had nothing with my name on it.

Lol ok thanks. But yeah I have a few stuff that gets mailed to me. I just thought it was only supposed to be bills

well I would check with them first. I really am not sure myself.
