I don't think you made a mistake... maybe it's random on who get's detailed screened and we were part of the few?

yeah i guess thats all we can do wait. i wonder if our applications can go on for more than six months ? or if we have to know if they are accepting us before six months

thats me, i had a case of asylum denied in 2007.
my application was accepted on august 27th.
fingerprints done on september 27th
the application right before mine got accepted today and they have been waiting the same amount that i have. I hope mine gets approved soon

I send mines the day application released and I have a deportation order in 2007 as well
No update yet but the one before me got approved recently as well
All numbers around mine have been approved
My best guess is they contact ur school or somewhere where they can verify your information and depending on how fast they get a reply is how they approve you but who knows....

i called and they said i should hear from them from four to six months after the acceptance of my application. So i dont expect to hear before that, maybe around the end of january of febraury since thats when six months hit
