Nebraska , I see people getting it here and there, im happy for them but a little disheartened every time its quicker than mine. dont think they're going FIFO

Not that many people from our time frame have been approved. At least in this forum it is only about 6 max 10 people. That is nothing.

There is also no service center in Alaska. Just Texas, California, Vermont, and Nebraska. You are giving yourself anxiety for no reason.

Lmao!!! I meant Nebraska! Am stressing because i have many other issue and this being approved would make all of em go away...no job, no money, my spring semester as a CNA that i might not get in if i dont get the SS#, i have to wait i dont know how long to try to enroll into that course again.!! I guess am giving myself no reasons to stress!! luckily this coming week i got finals wilk keep me busy from constantly thinking about this: -)

It's been more than a month since I've sent in my application and I've even done two biometrics (they didn't catch my fingerprints right the first time) and my USCIS online status is still not showing up. It says "Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status....etc " when I entered both of my receipt numbers. Can anybody look at my timeline and tell me if I should be worried? Thanks in advance!

Not, if you just did biometrics on the 30th.

Same here guys. I am not a patient woman so this is killing me lol.
They received my application on September 4th, and I did my fingerprints on the 28th. Since then, the process has been stuck on Initial Review (sigh)...
And the worst part is that the Last Updated Date shows 09/07 which makes me think they never even touched my case.

But on the other hand, after googling a bit, it is common knowledge that uscis does not always update the cases online. Sometimes people receive their approval in the mail even though it shows Initial Review on their site. So check your mail every day guys.

Our dream is just within reach, we can finally contribute to this country we love.

Hi! I got my biometrics appt. Notice yesterday and it asks me to bring valid ID but the only one i have is my visa but it expired in 2010 in the pic on it is from when i was 9. So do youll think they will accept this as a valid ID because i have an appt. for my consular 2 days after my biometrics appt. So i dont know what to do.
