Yes that's correct. Only those whom are 25 and older no longer have to take the course.

Got my dl in the mail today cool.

How long did it take to receive it?

took my test on the 5th and received it today the 17th.

You don't have to wait until DACA comes to take the driving safety course and receive the certificate. They don't ask for a SSN or anything, just your name and address. If you want to get your DL as fast as possible, I advise you do the course now, lol.

Yay!!! Took my test at gessner and passed it. It was awesome and super easy. It took less than 15 mins. All we did was parallel park and then drive around a neighborhood. Very happy I have a license now. Can't wait to get the hard copy

lol i got back in Houston from my travel on Dec 7th i went to the dmv around the airport that same day got my permit. Saturday night i saw opening for road test on Monday 10th got a really bad lady she failed me cause i was stopping a few inches from the stop sign.

Fast forward to the following day. I woke up and saw another opening for Wednesday. I immediately signed up for the appointment ,and this time, i nailed it. Everything perfect no error no mistake. The dmv lady was like where did you get your test before? she was in disbelief i failed 2 days ago while i actually drive good.

All and all i got my licence in 6 days starting from when i got back to Houston now i got a job interview today at macy. Naija no dey carry last hehe

I went to the Rosenberg DPS yesterday and had a problem with my SS not clearing. They told me to call immigration and ask when it would be cleared. Did this happen to anyone of you guys?

Do you mean they told you to call Social Security? Or did you mean to say that your EAD didn't clear? USCIS has nothing to do with your Social Security.
