Let me start by saying that I feel very lucky and i am very greatful with God for being approved for DACA/EAD.

Before my approval, i was expecting to wait, at least, 2 month for my approval after taking my Bios. I was expecting that because all of the information i have read here at this forum.
Surprisingly, I got approved 1.5 weeks after getting my bios taken.

I’m not saying that the +2 month wait does not happen, off course it does, have seen may ppl around here in that situation. What I’m trying to say is that after ppl get approved, some never come back to the forum and share the news with us. Most of the time ppl who have waited for a long time start posting their frustration (which i completely understand [couldn’t think of a better word]) on this forum. Those post, create a "circle of depression" on some ppls minds, because that’s all they read, i can’t really blame them.
Im not trying to be rude, Im praying for everybody to be approved, we just have to patient! . DONT PUT YOUR HEAD DOWN!!!

Yeah, the people who have been waiting longer seem to post a lot more.

I can't say I know what it's like to have to wait too long to get approved because my process has been fairly fast, even though I'm approved I'll keep coming to the forum because this forum relieved a lot of the stress I had, even before applying for DACA. Therefore I'll keep coming back to help those who need the help and to share stories of my life after approval

His theory is that approval rate is about the same as it always has been. It's just that people that have not been approved stick around a lot longer on the forum creating this facade of "long wait for approval".

I think it's good though. People shouldn't be expecting 1-4 week approval. They should be expecting 2-4 months. If it happens sooner than that, all the better.

What a waste of entering a thread.. Anyway now that I'm in here, my theory is that there is no theory. All service centers run at their own individual pace Cali: fastest - Vermont: slowest. Its not rocket science. Everyone just needs to keep on doing what they were doing before the June 15 announcement of DACA.
