SSA, SSN and wait times - Page 91

They said theres no print out because the immigration hasnt verified it yet.

alright wtf, they're slacking. Although I did take 14 days to apply I received my SSN very quickly in about 3 Business days. This SSN is something that they cannot deny this is something they MUST give you.

Right? So ill tell immigration on them. )) ill call again tomorrow. I just wish someone else is handling my case. this.is.annoying. Lol. Oh well. Its not like i can do much. Thanks for replying.

I applied for my SSN last week (Wednesday), you think I can go and ask for a printout tomorrow or just wait for the card?
p.s. they told me I would receive my card in 7-10 days?

They told me to come back tomorrow for the printout, since it takes 24 hours to show up in the system and they would be closed for New Year's Day. So, you should be able to get the printout tomorrow. I need to get mine so I can take care of my permit and get a checking account. So, I suggest getting it if you need it before your card arrives.

Nvm I checked my mail yesterday for some reason and it was in there, lol I guess it was there since last Saturday just didn't notice.

Glad you got it. I got my print out today, but I'm not expecting the card until maybe Saturday/Monday.

It's been six weeks since I applied for my SSN. I called the main SSA number and they said that if I don't receive my card within 8 weeks to call the DHS. Looks like we are in the same boat.

So after making alot of calls today, i spoke with someone from uscis and said that the reason that im not verified yet is because im still in some sort of SAVE program list or something. I called their number but theyre already closed. Will try again tomorrow. Ill update here as soon as i get some answers. were getting close to gettin it, i can feel it. Haha!

Yeah hopefully we are near. I will make some calls next week too. I might even call theDHS.
